UK-Wide
Initiative
The contract has been written with flexibility in mind. Within Wales it is open to all educational
organisations connected to the JANET network and IT departments of
Local Authorities. Outside Wales the initiative is open to all
organisations and institutions connected to the JANET network.
Organisations / RNOs / Institutions which may join at any time.
Joining the initiative
entitles
fifty
employees in that organisation to use all the materials for a
total of
£800 + VAT per annum.
Extra usernames can be purchased in batches of twenty five costing
£400 + VAT per annum. All usernames may be re-set at the end
of each contract year thus freeing them to new users.
New Contract
The current contract
terminates at the end of February 2009.
Very keen rates,
substantially below those normally extended to educational
institutions, were negotiated for the contract. The greater
the number of organisations subscribing to the scheme, the better
the position from which Welsh Networking can negotiate a new and attractive
deal for the JANET community. |
