Self Registration User Guidelines

  • The WNL Self registration key is to be used by employees only and not to be given to students or individuals outside of the WNL

  • To enable WNL to accurately monitor the success of the facility users are required to accurately complete the Self Registration details including their First Name, Last Name, Email address and which Organisation they are based.

  • Users found to be abusing the Self Registration process by registering invalid information will have their account deleted

  • Users found to be providing the WNL Self Registration Key to individuals outside of WNL will be subject to Data Security Policy procedures.

Technical Requirements

General Operating System and Browser Requirements
These general standards are applicable to all XtremeLearning site requirements and content/feature requirements. 

General Workstation Hardware Requirements
These general standards are applicable to all XtremeLearning site requirements and content/feature requirements. 

  • Pentium-based computer or equivalent

  • 16MB of RAM (Recommended is 32MB)

  • 800x600 resolution with 256 colors (Recommended is 1024x768 with 16 bit color)

  • Audio hardware is preferred but optional for courseware with audio

  • 25 MB available free hard drive disk space

Internet Connectivity
These general standards are applicable to XtremeLearning.  The better the Internet Connection (in terms of available bandwidth) the opportunity for improved performance. 

  • “Live-Play”  is defined as a direct connection to the Internet while accessing and using the training: ISDN2 (at 128Kbps) or better.

  • Download is defined as a direct connection to the Internet to download components: modem (56Kbps) bandwidth required.

Note:  Performance is variable regardless of the bandwidth of Internet connection.  Network congestion on the Internet (between your PC and the Thomson NETg site) can affect performance no matter what the actual connection speed may be.
